Job Title: Junior Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Role Overview

• We are looking for an energetic, practical, and organised person to coordinate Garri Delight’s market activations.
• You will bring together brand ambassadors, vendors, entertainment, and promotional materials, making sure everyone knows what to do and each activation runs smoothly.
• Management will set the strategy and approve budgets; your focus will be preparation, follow-up, and execution on the ground. You will also visit local outlets and follow up with potential buyers to support product visibility and sales. This is a junior, hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for activation days by confirming schedules, team availability, products, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate and brief brand ambassadors, assign duties, and oversee their activities during activations.
• Arrange DJs, dancers, branded materials, and other approved activation needs; follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate setup, customer engagement, sampling, and pack-down, addressing issues on the day.
• Visit local shops and markets to introduce the product, identify potential buyers, and follow up on sales leads.
• Submit short reports covering activation results, sales and leads, customer feedback, expenses, and products or materials used.

Qualifications

• Some experience supporting activations, events, promotions, or brand ambassador teams is an advantage.
• Energetic and confident engaging customers and coordinating people in busy market environments.
• Organised, punctual, and persistent with vendor follow-up and practical arrangements.
• Resourceful and able to solve everyday problems while keeping management informed.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp and basic spreadsheets for schedules, lead records, and reports.
• Able to work in Ikorodu, travel locally, and attend scheduled activations, including weekends when required.
