Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate real estate documents like purchase/sale agreements, leases, and development contracts.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to real estate laws, zoning, and environmental regulations; identify and mitigate legal risks.
  • Due Dil diligence: Investigate property-related factual and legal information for acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Regulatory Affairs: Manage filings, licenses, and permits with government bodies.
  • Legal Advisory: Provide expert advice to management and operations teams on property law, transactions, and development.
  • Dispute Resolution: Handle pre-litigation, mediation, and litigation for real estate matters.
  • External Counsel Management: Coordinate with and manage outside law firms for specific cases or complex deals.
  • Corporate Support: Assist with legal aspects of corporate governance, registrations, and renewals.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Significant experience in real estate law, property transactions, or a related field.
  • Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of property law, tenancy laws, contract law, and corporate governance.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and risk management abilities.

Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
