Job Title: Librarian
Location: Dutse, Jigawa
Description
- The University Librarian will oversee the university library system and coordinate library services across campuses, faculties, departments and research units.
Requirements
- A First Degree and a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science.
- Registration with the relevant professional library association or body.
- A rank of Reader or Deputy University Librarian and above, with at least 15 years of continuous public service experience, including 10 years in a university library.
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- Evidence of research contributions and publications in reputable journals.
- Experience in library automation, ICT proficiency, good communication skills and high integrity.
- Must not be older than 65 years by 12th April 2027.
