Summary
A Logistics and Facility Manager oversees a company's physical infrastructure, warehouses, fleet, and transportation networks to ensure safe, cost-effective, and uninterrupted business operations.
Fleet & Transport Operations: Manage company vehicles, maintenance, dispatch schedules, delivery routes, and freight optimization.
Vendor & Regulatory Oversight: Negotiate with third-party logistics providers, track delivery KPIs, and ensure strict compliance with transport and safety regulations.
Facility Management:
Maintenance & Infrastructure: Oversee building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and coordinate routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
HSE & Cost Control: Enforce workplace safety standards, manage external service contractors, and optimize space and utility costs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience: Typically holds a Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering, backed by 3 to 10+ years of relevant experience.
Technical & Soft Skills: Proficient in ERP/inventory management software, regulatory compliance, budgeting, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership.
