Job Summary

• Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee fleet operations, product distribution, delivery schedules, and transportation activities.
• The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, effective vehicle maintenance, cost control, and compliance with operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily product deliveries to customers and distributors, ensuring timely and efficient distribution.
• Manage company trucks, vehicle maintenance, servicing, repairs, and fleet availability.
• Supervise drivers and logistics personnel, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules, routes, and safety procedures.
• Monitor fuel consumption, transportation expenses, and maintenance costs to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage logistics vendors, mechanics, transporters, and other service providers.
• Ensure proper handling and transportation of products to minimize damage and losses.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare periodic operational and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with vehicle documentation, licensing, transport regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, Production, Procurement, and Finance teams to support business operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• B.Sc. or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics, fleet management, or distribution operations, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing trucks, drivers, vehicle maintenance, and delivery operations.
• Strong knowledge of logistics cost control, fuel management, and transportation safety.
• Excellent planning, problem-solving, leadership, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary
N350,000 – N400,000 Monthly.
