Citizen's Voice 97.1 fm is a talk radio broadcasting station, situated on the Island.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Marketer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting Line: General Manager (GM)

Role Summary

  • Responsible for driving revenue growth, securing advertising contracts, attracting sponsorships, and promoting the station’s programmes and brand to prospective clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure advertising clients, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase station revenue and market share.
  • Prepare proposals, pitch advertising packages, and negotiate commercial deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and corporate clients.
  • Promote station programmes, events, and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Meet assigned sales targets and submit regular performance reports.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Number of new clients and advertising contracts secured.
  • Client retention and satisfaction rate.
  • Sponsorship deals and strategic partnerships secured.
  • Growth in the station’s advertising portfolio and market visibility.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree with 6 - 10 years experience.

Required Competencies:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, sales, networking, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
