We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Material Controller

Location:  Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials on site.
• Maintain accurate records of all materials received, issued, and in stock.
• Ensure materials are properly stored, labelled, and protected from damage or loss.
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical stock with records.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Site Engineers, and Project Management teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Prepare material reports and identify shortages, excesses, or discrepancies.
• Ensure materials are issued only against approved requests and documentation.
• Monitor material usage and support effective cost control on construction projects.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• 3–10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and site operations.
• Strong inventory management and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel and other inventory management tools.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a busy construction site.
