Job Description

• Our client is seeking a proactive, organized, and customer-focused Merchandiser to support product visibility, availability, and sales performance.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring product displays, managing stock visibility, visiting retail outlets, and ensuring the company's products are properly presented to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the company's products are properly displayed and arranged at retail outlets.
• Monitor product availability and report low stock levels.
• Visit shops, supermarkets, and distributors to check product visibility and presentation.
• Ensure products are correctly labelled and displayed attractively.
• Monitor competitors' products, prices, and promotional activities.
• Build and maintain good relationships with retailers and distributors.
• Identify opportunities to improve product visibility and market presence.
• Submit regular reports on stock levels, market activities, and competitor observations.
• Support promotional activities and sales initiatives.
• Ensure products are displayed according to company standards.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in merchandising, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or retail.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor stock and product displays.
• Good knowledge of the Lagos market is an added advantage.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with retailers and distributors.
• Must be proactive, reliable, and result-oriented.
• Willingness to travel to retail outlets and customer locations when required.

Salary & Benefits

• N100,000 – ₦150,000 monthly
• Performance-based bonuses.
