Job Summary

• A well established lounge is currently hiring for the role of Mixologist, accommodation comes with this role

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails and beverages.
• Create innovative drink recipes and recommend beverages based on customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the bar, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Monitor beverage inventory, manage stock levels, and report shortages to management.
• Ensure accurate measurement, presentation, and consistency of drinks.
• Handle customer orders and payments accurately where required.
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and applicable age restrictions.
• Minimise wastage and maintain proper records of beverage usage where required.
• Collaborate with other lounge staff to ensure efficient service delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a mixologist, bartender, or in a similar hospitality role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beverage mixing techniques, and drink presentation.
• Creativity and attention to detail in developing and preparing drinks.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of bar hygiene, sanitation, and safe beverage handling.
• Basic stock management and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy lounge environment.
• Honesty, punctuality, professionalism, and a neat appearance.
• Willingness to work evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays as scheduled.
• Relevant bartending or mixology training or certification is an added advantage.

Salary
N75,000 - N80,000 per month.
