Job Title: Online English Tutor

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a skilled and engaging English Tutor to provide online lessons to students in Grades 7–12.
  • The ideal candidate has proven experience teaching English online, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make lessons interactive, engaging, and easy to understand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging online English lessons to students in Grades 7–12.
  • Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, literature, and other relevant English topics.
  • Prepare lesson plans and learning materials tailored to students’ grade levels and learning needs.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Help students improve their English proficiency, academic performance, and confidence.
  • Maintain a professional and supportive online learning environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience teaching English, preferably to students in Grades 7–12.
  • Previous experience teaching online is essential.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
  • Reliable, high-speed internet connection suitable for uninterrupted video lessons.
  • A quiet, professional teaching environment with a laptop or computer, webcam, and microphone.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to different learning needs.
  • A degree in English, Education, or a related field is an advantage.
