Our services include laboratory investigations, ultrasound scans, X-rays, ECG, echocardiography, and home sample collection.

Job Summary

• We are seeking a professional, friendly, organised, and customer-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience at our facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to patients, visitors, and other clients professionally.
• Register new and returning patients and maintain accurate patient information.
• Schedule appointments for laboratory tests, scans, and other diagnostic services.
• Answer telephone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct patients to the appropriate departments.
• Provide patients with information about available services, procedures, and applicable fees.
• Manage patient files, appointment records, and other administrative documents.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure orderly movement between the reception, laboratory, and imaging departments.
• Receive payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate payment records where assigned.
• Respond to patient complaints courteously and escalate complex issues to the appropriate staff.
• Support daily administrative activities and maintain a clean, organised reception area.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with established data protection and facility procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of an OND or HND in Business Administration, Office Technology and Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a receptionist, front-desk officer, customer service representative, or administrative assistant is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and data entry.
• Ability to handle patient information responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
• Professional appearance, a positive attitude, and a patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a healthcare environment and manage multiple tasks.
