Job Description

  • Our client is seeking an experienced, safety-conscious, and responsible School Bus Driver to transport pupils safely to and from school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport pupils to and from school according to approved schedules and routes.
  • Pick up and drop off pupils at designated locations and ensure they are handed over safely.
  • Maintain discipline and safety standards while pupils are on the bus.
  • Conduct routine checks on the bus before and after every trip.
  • Monitor fuel, vehicle condition, and maintenance requirements.
  • Keep the school bus clean and in good working condition.
  • Comply with traffic laws, school policies, and road safety regulations.
  • Report mechanical faults, accidents, delays, or other incidents promptly to management.
  • Maintain accurate trip records and report any concerns involving pupils or vehicle operations.
  • Exercise patience, alertness, and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND from a recognised institution.
  • Must have previous work experience as a School Bus Driver.
  • Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
  • Good knowledge of Lagos roads, particularly Ago Palace Way and surrounding areas.
  • Demonstrable safe driving habits and a good driving record.
  • Ability to interact respectfully with pupils, parents, teachers, and school management.
  • Must be punctual, patient, disciplined, honest, and safety-conscious.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance.
  • Must be medically fit and available to resume immediately.
  • Applicants with relevant school bus driving experience will be given priority.

Salary
N90,000 – N100,000 monthly
