Job Title: Security Operations Supervisor

Location: Eputu, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

• The Security Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supervising security personnel, coordinating field operations, enforcing security standards, and ensuring effective service delivery across client locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and enforce operational discipline across all assigned security locations.
• Conduct unannounced inspections to verify guard presence, alertness, compliance, and post coverage.
• Ensure strict adherence to post orders, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and client security requirements.
• Monitor security personnel performance and take immediate corrective action against negligence or misconduct.
• Ensure timely deployment, replacement, and effective coverage of all assigned security posts.
• Identify security threats, assess vulnerabilities, and implement proactive risk-control measures.
• Take charge of incident response, coordinate emergency actions, and ensure prompt escalation to management.
• Manage client complaints, resolve operational challenges, and maintain professional client relationships.
• Verify uniforms, equipment, communication devices, and operational readiness of deployed personnel.
• Recommend staff training, commendations, disciplinary action, and performance improvements.
• Ensure supervisors and guards maintain accurate occurrence books, handover notes, and incident records.
• Enforce accountability at every level and ensure no security breach or operational failure goes unreported.
• Provide management with timely intelligence, operational updates, and recommendations to strengthen service delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of HND or equivalent qualification. Relevant security, military, or law enforcement training is an advantage.
• 2–5 years’ experience in security operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
