Job Title: Waiter / Waitress (Server)

Job Overview

• We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Waiter / Waitress to join our dining team.
• In this role, you will be the main point of contact for guests, ensuring they enjoy an exceptional dining experience through friendly service, efficient order handling, and detailed menu knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Order Management:

• Greet and seat guests warmly, providing menus and explaining daily specials.
• Answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary/allergy restrictions.
• Recommend food pairings, beverages, and upsell appetizers or desserts to enhance the dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS software, order pads, or digital tablets.
• Deliver orders promptly to tables, ensuring correct dish temperatures and presentation.

Table & Dining Area Maintenance:

• Set up tables with clean linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments before opening and between seatings.
• Pre-bus and clear dishes, glasses, and utensils throughout the meal.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dining area, service stations, and side stands.
• Follow all health code, sanitation, and safety guidelines.

Payments & Teamwork:

• Issue accurate guest bills, process payments (cash, credit cards, POS apps), and return change/receipts.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff regarding special requests, timing, or allergies.
• Address minor customer complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.
• Assist team members with side duties (rolling silverware, stocking supplies, resetting dining room).

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND or OND with at least 2 years' experience.
