Ajoke Group is a distribution company that deals with the supply of major FMCG products nationwide.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Warehouse Personnel

Location: Gbagada / Bariga / Oworo / Somolu - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify goods delivered to the warehouse against relevant documents.
• Arrange and store products properly to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
• Issue products accurately based on approved sales orders and stock requests.
• Maintain accurate records of goods received, issued, returned, and remaining in stock.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damaged goods, expired products, or discrepancies to the appropriate authority.
• Ensure proper stock rotation using the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) where applicable.
• Participate in regular stocktaking and reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
• Ensure that products are handled carefully to prevent damage, loss, and wastage.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe at all times.
• Assist in loading and offloading goods while ensuring that quantities are properly checked.
• Verify products prepared for dispatch to ensure that the correct items and quantities are released.
• Report stock discrepancies, theft, breakages, and other warehouse-related issues promptly.
• Ensure proper documentation of stock movements and maintain orderly warehouse records.
• Work closely with the Sales, Accounts, and Distribution departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform any other warehouse-related duties assigned by management.
