How to spot layoff signals early
Nigerian companies rarely announce layoffs publicly. The signals show up in hiring behaviour: previously-active employers going silent, senior staff leaving in short windows, engineering leadership churn. This tool watches the corpus for the first signal - abrupt cessation of posting after sustained activity.
Being on this list doesn't guarantee layoffs - the company may have quietly hit hiring targets, or slowed intentionally. But if you're mid-interview with an employer that suddenly appears here, ask direct questions about runway, headcount trajectory and recent departures.
