Job Title: Accountant

Location: Mabushi, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage financial records, oversee transactions, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong financial management skills, maintain accurate records, and provide reliable financial insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, and payroll.
• Monitor company expenses and maintain supporting documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and internal controls.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies when required.
• Analyze financial data, identify variances, and recommend improvements.
• Support management with financial analysis and cost-control strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, depending on the employer's requirements.
• Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the travel agency industry is an added advantage.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
