Job Title: Auditor

Location: Festac, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting: Group Financial Controller
Resumption: Immediately

Role Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Auditor to support the organization's internal audit and financial control functions.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing financial records, assessing internal controls, identifying financial risks, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of financial records, transactions, and operational processes.
• Review accounting records and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Assess internal controls and identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Verify compliance with financial policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Reconcile financial records and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions.
• Prepare audit working papers, findings, and reports for management review.
• Follow up on audit findings and monitor implementation of recommended corrective actions.
• Support financial reviews, investigations, and special audit assignments as required.
• Maintain proper documentation of audit activities and findings.
• Provide support to the Group Financial Controller on audit and financial control matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant auditing or accounting experience.
• Must have completed ICAN Skills Level.
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 per month.
