Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, customer service and business development skills.
  • Oversee the branch’s daily operations and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Lead the branch team to achieve targets for customer acquisition, deposit mobilisation, quality loan growth and revenue.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, traders and SME customers.
  • Supervise loan origination, appraisal, disbursement and recovery, and monitor the branch’s portfolio quality and repayment performance.
  • Ensure the branch complies with the Bank’s policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor cash management, operational controls, security and accurate record-keeping.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and maintain high service standards.
  • Track branch performance, prepare reports and implement corrective actions where needed.
