Industry: Industrial Raw Materials / Plastics / Manufacturing

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Business Development Executive to identify, develop, and convert new B2B opportunities within the manufacturing sector.
  • The role will focus on new customer acquisition, account development, and industrial sales, particularly to manufacturers that use plastic raw materials such as HDPE, LDPE, PP, PVC, and PET.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the manufacturing and industrial sectors.
  • Prospect for potential customers and build a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers across Procurement, Supply Chain, Production and Management.
  • Understand customer requirements and present suitable product solutions.
  • Develop new accounts from initial contact through quotation, negotiation and first order.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals and commercial offers.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within approved guidelines.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects, opportunities and sales activities.
  • Meet agreed new-business, revenue and customer-acquisition targets.

Requirements

  • B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline. 3–5 years of relevant B2B sales or business development experience.
  • Strong experience in prospecting and acquiring new customers, not only managing existing accounts.
  • Experience selling to manufacturers, industrial companies, or corporate customers is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in plastics, raw materials, chemicals, packaging, FMCG manufacturing or industrial products will be an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
  • Proven ability to identify prospects, reach decision-makers and develop accounts from scratch.
  • Target-driven, commercially minded and able to work independently.

Questions about applying

They see your structured profile as it stands at the moment you apply, plus your CV if you have one attached. That snapshot is frozen - if you edit your profile next week, this application still shows what you sent today. Your salary expectation is never sent unless you choose to include it.
Yes. The match figure is for you, not for them - Givanas Group of Companies does not see it. The apply button works the same regardless of your match percentage.
Because boards rewrite titles when they republish. All copies of this vacancy are the same job at the same employer with the same closing date. We show the employer's own wording and list the rest above so you know you have already seen it.
It appears in your application tracker straight away. Because this application is handled here rather than on an external site, you will see the status change as Givanas Group of Companies moves it - viewed, shortlisted, interviewing or declined. Roles that redirect to an employer's own site cannot be tracked that way, and we say so on those listings.
