We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Buyer (Indirect)

Location: Lagos

What You Will Do

• Organise and implement purchase of indirect items (eg. parts, service, statinery items, etc).
• Negotiating pricing and other contractual terms and conditions.
• Identify suppliers and other recognised ethical channels of sourcing for parts and service.
• Research, compare and analyse quotes to ensure company gets the best value for its resources.
• Maintain up-to-date database of approved suppliers.
• Maintain up-to-date supplier performance metrics such as delivery timeliness, quality of products, supplier reliability, etc.
• Prepare budgets, cost analysis and reports.
• Provide professional guide to user departments.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure business objectives are efficiently achieved.
• Prepare and share weekly report with line manager.

Our perfect Candidate

• BSc / HND in Engineering, social science or related field.
• Professional Certification is an added advantage (eg. CIPS).
• Relevant work experience in a similar position with at least 5 years’ post NYSC experience.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Persuasive Communicator.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to analyze business performance with meaningful results.
• Must be able to work both independently and within a team.
• Goal-oriented with proven ability to get results.
• Good data analytics skills.
• Determined to succeed with the team.
