Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Officer to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operations of rooms and apartments within a residential estate in Ikoyi.
• The role ensures the facilities remain safe, functional, well-maintained, and efficiently managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate repairs and servicing of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Respond to residents' maintenance requests and resolve facility-related issues promptly.
• Monitor maintenance supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, contracts, and vendor engagements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's / HND in Facility Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in facility management, preferably within residential properties or serviced apartments.
• Good knowledge of building maintenance and estate operations.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; facility management software is an advantage.
