Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Field Technician – Electrical & Electronic to support the installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic systems across client facilities and project sites.
The successful candidate will ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and equipment failures.
Conduct testing and calibration of electrical and electronic devices.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
Support commissioning and startup activities.
Maintain equipment maintenance logs and technical records.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and HSE procedures.
Report equipment defects and recommend corrective actions.
Support field operations and emergency maintenance activities when required.
Qualifications and Experience
OND, HND, HSE 1, 2, 3, Trade Test, or Technical Certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum of 3–5 years relevant field experience.
Experience working with electrical panels, motors, drives, sensors, control systems, and instrumentation devices.
Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Knowledge of industrial electrical safety practices.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work at client and project locations.
Remuneration
N200,000 Naira – N300,000 monthly
