We are seeking an experienced Field Technician – Mechanical Pumps to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul, and repair of various pumping systems used in industrial and oil & gas operations.
Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, maintain, overhaul, and repair centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
Carry out alignment, balancing, and mechanical inspections.
Diagnose pump performance issues and implement corrective actions.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Replace mechanical seals, bearings, couplings, impellers, and related components.
Support pump testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
Maintain maintenance records and service reports.
Ensure compliance with quality and HSE requirements.
Assist in equipment reliability improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
OND, HND, HSE 1, 2,3,Trade Test, or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
3–5 years experience maintaining industrial pumps.
Knowledge of pump systems, seals, bearings, rotating equipment, and piping systems.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
Ability to work independently at field locations.
Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 per month.
