Job Title: Head of Operations

Location: Gbagada, Lagos

Job Summary

  • Our client seeks an experienced Head of Operations to oversee retail, warehouse, production, distribution, and facility operations.
  • The ideal candidate will drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, process improvement, and team performance while ensuring compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee retail, warehouse, production, logistics, and facility operations.
  • Improve operational processes, productivity, cost efficiency, and profitability.
  • Manage budgets, inventory, equipment maintenance, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
  • Lead and supervise departmental managers and operations teams.
  • Monitor performance targets, implement improvements, and report to executive management.
  • Drive continuous improvement, accountability, and effective resource utilisation.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of operations experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site operations across manufacturing, warehousing, retail, or distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of operational strategy, inventory management, cost control, and process improvement.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications are required; an MBA or master’s degree is an added advantage.

Remuneration

  • Salary: N800,000 Net Monthly.
  • Benefits: Housing Allowance, Annual Leave Allowance, HMO, Pension, and Communication Allowance.
