We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HSE Manager

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor HSE/ESMS programs.
  • Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments.
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Deliver safety training and awareness.
  • Support ESG and sustainability initiatives.
  • Manage emergency preparedness and reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction/infrastructure operations.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance.

Required Certifications

  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – Mandatory.
  • Membership of ISPON (Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria) – Mandatory/Strongly Preferred.

Preferred Certifications

  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification.
  • ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or IOSH Membership.
  • Incident Investigation / Root Cause Analysis Certification.
  • Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification Training (HIRA/JSA/JHA).
  • First Aid, Emergency Response and Fire Safety Certification.
  • ESG / Sustainability Training.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification (added advantage).

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, ISPON Member, IOSH Membership, and 7+ years of infrastructure, construction, engineering or operational HSE experience.
