Skipper Eye-Q Super Speciality Eye hospital is an International Eye Hospital chain with the presence of 30 in India and 5in Nigeria handling all types of Eye Surgeries such as Cataract, Retina, Glaucoma, presbyopia, cornea, squint, refractive error and other vision problems, and having treated 10+ Million patients. Our patients get the same treatment in Nigeria as in the US, UK, and India. We are 19Years in Eye Care and HMO Empanelled Hospitals.

Job Title: Inventory Control Officer

Description

• We are recruiting an Inventory Control Officer to manage the hospital’s stock levels, track item movement, and ensure physical inventory matches system records.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Monitoring & Tracking: Track inbound and outbound inventory, monitor reorder points, and prevent stockouts or excess stock.
• Auditing & Cycle Counting: Conduct regular physical stock counts, cycle counts, and reconcile differences against system data.
• Receiving & Inspection: Inspect incoming shipments for quality and quantity, verify delivery notes against purchase orders, and log items into the system.
• Discrepancy Investigation: Investigate variances, missing stock, or damaged goods, and escalate unresolved issues.
• Stock Organization & Rotation: Implement stock rotation methods like FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and maintain clean, safe warehouse categorization.
• Reporting: Generate inventory reports on usage patterns, stock levels, discrepancies, and valuation.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, warehouse staff, finance, and sales teams.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: Typically 2 - 4 years of proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or retail/FMCG operations.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or specialized WMS software).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel or spreadsheet tools for data tracking and reporting.
• Core Competencies:
  • High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to deal with vendors and internal teams
