They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Location: Abraham Adesanya, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time, 4 days a week (flexible days)
Working hours: 8:00am to 7:00pm
Accommodation: Not provided

About the Role

• We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support day-to-day work in the home studio kitchen, from meal preparation to content shoots.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the chef with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, marinating and portioning ingredients.
• Set up and organise the workstation before cooking and catering orders.
• Support the cooking process as directed by the chef.
• Help package and prepare food orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assist during content shoots by prepping ingredients, plating and arranging the kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, including washing utensils, equipment, surfaces and the kitchen area.
• Receive, check and store groceries and supplies properly.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the chef when supplies are running low.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Carry out other kitchen-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a kitchen, catering or food service environment.
• Kowledge of food preparation, kitchen tools and food hygiene.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work under the chef's direction.
• Physical stamina to stand and work for long hours.
• Honest, punctual, neat and respectful.
• Able to work flexible days and the full 8am to 7pm schedule.
• Based in or able to commute reliably to Abraham Adesanya, Lagos.

Added Advantages:

• Experience with Nigerian and continental dishes or large-batch cooking.
• Comfort being on camera or around content production.
• Food handler's certificate or relevant culinary training.

Compensation and Benefits

• N250,000 monthly salary.
• Flexible working days (4 days a week).
