We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Lubrication Technician
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Purpose

To carry out routine lubrication of plant equipment in line with the preventive maintenance programme, ensuring correct lubricant selection, application and storage practices to maximize equipment reliability and minimize wear-related failures
The Job
- Carry out scheduled lubrication rounds on plant and equipment as per the preventive maintenance programme and provide report on lubrication
- Identify correct lubricant type, grade and quantity for each piece of equipment using OEM manuals and lubrication charts
- Top up, replace and filter oils, greases and other lubricants as required
- Take oil samples for laboratory analysis and support condition-based lubrication decisions
- Inspect equipment for leaks, contamination, abnormal wear or lubrication-related faults and report findings
- Maintain accurate lubrication records and update completed tasks in the CMMS/EAM system
- Ensure proper storage, labelling and handling of lubricants to prevent contamination and waste
- Maintain lubrication tools and equipment (grease guns, oil transfer units, filters) in good working condition
- Support root cause investigations where lubrication is a contributing factor to equipment failure
Qualifications
- OND / HND in Mechanical Engineering or any technical related field
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years' cognate experience preferably in a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment
- Relevant certifications in Total Production Management (TPM) and ISO standards

- Be organised and able to manage materials efficiently
- Have a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
- Possess good communication and teamwork skills
- Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
