We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - Fitting and Turning
Location: Ogun
Job Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise fitting, turning and mechanical maintenance activities.
- Coordinate maintenance work assigned to fitters, turners and other relevant personnel.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Inspect mechanical equipment and identify wear, faults and potential failures.
- Coordinate repairs and replacement of mechanical components.
- Support troubleshooting of plant machinery and mechanical systems.
- Ensure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Coordinate with Production and other technical teams to minimise equipment downtime.
- Ensure appropriate safety procedures are followed during maintenance activities.
- Escalate major equipment defects and maintenance risks appropriately.
Minimum Qualifications
- Class 1 Trade Tested Fitter and Turner.
- SSCE / WAEC / NECO with at least five credits, including English Language, Mathematics and two Science subjects.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
Preferred Attributes:
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability, practical fitting and turning experience, supervisory capability, attention to detail and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
