Raphael the Archangel Catholic Specialist Hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to join its 50-bed hospital in Olago, Edumoga, Okpokwu LGA, Benue State.
What you’ll do
Coordinate daily laboratory activities and maintain quality assurance.
Perform investigations across clinical chemistry, haematology, microbiology, parasitology and serology.
Support haemoglobin electrophoresis, blood grouping and compatibility testing.
Operate and maintain laboratory analysers, manage records and supplies, and supervise support staff.
Requirements
BMLS or equivalent recognised qualification.
Full MLSCN registration and a current practising licence.
At least five years’ post-registration clinical laboratory experience.
Practical experience with analysers, microscopy, electrophoresis and blood transfusion procedures.
Willingness to live in Olago or nearby.
Experience with Mindray BS-230 or BA-88A analysers, laboratory setup or staff training is an advantage.
