We are seeking an experienced and qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to manage and oversee its newly established diagnostic laboratory in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine laboratory investigations, including haematology, clinical chemistry, urinalysis and microbiology.
Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
Ensure proper sample collection, processing and storage.
Validate laboratory results and maintain quality control standards.
Manage laboratory records, reagents and inventory.
Ensure compliance with MLSCN regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Oversee daily laboratory operations and supervise support staff where necessary.
Requirements
BMLS Degree or recognised equivalent.
Current MLSCN registration and valid practising licence.
Minimum of 5 years post-NYSC experience, preferably in a clinical diagnostic laboratory.
Practical experience operating haematology and chemistry analysers.
Ability to independently manage routine laboratory operations.
Strong knowledge of laboratory quality control, safety procedures and infection prevention.
Good communication skills, professionalism and attention to detail.
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
