Rouz Hospital and Maternity is a private 24-hour facility located in Garki, Abuja within the Federal Capital Territory. It offers general medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and surgery, operating as a secondary health care centre in Gudu District. 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Abuja
Job type: Full-time

Main Duties
Sample Processing & Testing

  • Process miсrовихogy samples accurately, following lateratery precedures.
  • Read & record test kit and sterility test results
  • Mentity microorganisms using both instrumental classical microbiology techniques

Record and Documentation:

  • Enter all results accurately an the relevant
  • Keep paperword сomplete, accurate and upto date and file record properly

Laboratory Upkeep:

  • Moniter and manage consumable and equipment stocks Mainbrary equipment
  • Keep the lab clean, safe and well organised

Quality and Compliance:

  • Report deviations, change controls and out-of-specification results on time, following iscal procedures
  • Make sure any corrective actions are followed through

Supervisory Cover:

  • Cover for the Medical Laboratory Scientist when needed, to keep the service efficient and high quality.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc/HND Science Laboratory Technology Microbiology
  • Registered with the (M.L.S.C.N)
  • Experienced in Laboratory precedures
  • Computer literate with effective communication, teamwork, organizational skills
  • Applicant must reside in Abuja
