We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Mica and Spodumene Operator
Location: Ogun
Job Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned plant equipment and processing areas in accordance with approved procedures.
- Support the handling, movement and processing of mica and spodumene materials.
- Follow established procedures for the safe handling of chemicals and other process materials.
- Monitor operating conditions and report abnormalities promptly.
- Maintain proper housekeeping within assigned areas.
- Use required PPE and comply with all HSE requirements.
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain accurate operational records
- Report equipment faults, spillages, unsafe conditions and other incidents immediately
- Follow instructions from supervisors and plant management.
- Support plant production activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- SSCE / IGCSE with at least five credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and one other Science subject
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with dangerous chemicals.
Preferred Attributes:
- The successful candidate should be safety-conscious, physically capable of working in an industrial environment, attentive to operating procedures and comfortable working shifts where required.
