Job Title: Bartender / Mixologist

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time
Department: Food and Beverage
Reports To: Bar Supervisor / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

• The Mixologist is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• The role involves creating high-quality cocktails, maintaining bar standards, ensuring excellent customer service, and promoting a welcoming and professional bar environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Create innovative cocktails and beverage menus when required.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations. 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Handle POS transactions and customer billing accurately.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Customer satisfaction.
• Quality and consistency of drinks.
• Speed and efficiency of service.
• Cleanliness of bar area.
• Compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE / High School Diploma.
• Certification in Bartending or Mixology is an added advantage.
• 1–3 years relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift supplies when necessary.
