Job Title: Modern Trade Sales Representative

About the Role
- We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Modern Trade Salesman to join our sales team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities across assigned modern trade outlets, maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, and driving product visibility and volume.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales within assigned modern trade accounts (supermarkets, hypermarkets, chain stores).
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and accessibility in all assigned outlets.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels across outlets to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
- Implement sales strategies and promotions to increase revenue and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and buyers.
- Track competitor activities and provide timely market intelligence reports.
- Ensure timely execution of merchandising standards (shelf display, POS materials).
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 2–3 years of proven experience in Modern Trade or Retail Sales, preferably in FMCG.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and target-driven.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
