Job Title: Modern Market Merchandiser

Job Summary
- The Modern Trade Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring product availability, visibility, and proper display across supermarkets, hypermarkets, and other modern trade outlets to support sales growth and achieve merchandising objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure proper product display, shelf arrangement, pricing, and compliance with merchandising standards.
- Monitor stock levels, replenish shelves, and report out-of-stock situations.
- Check product expiry dates, damaged goods, and stock rotation in line with FIFO principles.
- Implement in-store promotions and maintain product visibility.
- Monitor competitors' activities, pricing, and promotional offers.
- Maintain good relationships with store managers and other retail personnel.
- Conduct regular outlet visits and submit accurate merchandising and stock reports.
- Support sales growth by identifying opportunities to improve product availability and shelf space.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and outlet requirements.

- Product availability and shelf visibility.
- Merchandising compliance.
- Outlet visit coverage.
- Reduction in stock-outs, expired, and damaged products.
- Timely and accurate reporting.
- Effective execution of in-store promotions.
- Contribution to sales growth.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of OND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in FMCG merchandising or retail sales.
- Good communication, organizational, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and stock management.
