Process Engineer II

We provide specialist solutions to international oil companies, marginal field operators, and service companies. Our work ranges from retrofitting and de-bottlenecking to designing complete facilities with seamless transition from construction to operations.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Process Engineer II

Location: Akwa Ibom

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering design activities, including the development of process design specifications, heat and material balances, and process flow diagrams.
• Supervise junior engineers and provide technical oversight of engineering contractor deliverables during FEED and detailed engineering phases.
• Conduct process optimization studies to identify cost-saving opportunities and evaluate alternative process configurations.
• Participate in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) reviews for new, modified, and existing facilities.
• Provide commissioning and start-up support for new or modified facilities as required.
• Support process engineering team organization and staffing requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in petroleum refining, the chemical process industry, or with an engineering contractor serving these industries.
• Experience in capital project development.
• Strong technical knowledge of process design, engineering specifications, and process optimization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
