Job Title: Project Manager (Major Capital Projects) III

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major capital projects in the oil and gas industry, ensuring successful execution within approved budgets, schedules and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, execution, coordination and delivery of major capital projects exceeding US$500 million.
  • Direct project teams and Project Leadership Teams (PLT) to achieve project objectives.
  • Integrate development planning, subsurface and engineering deliverables into overall project plans.
  • Identify and resolve critical project issues in collaboration with relevant functions.
  • Oversee project governance, resource allocation, cost management, scheduling and project controls.
  • Manage key relationships with joint-venture partners, commercial stakeholders and government representatives.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship and strategic direction to project teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in major capital projects within the oil and gas industry.
  • International project experience, including at least two overseas assignments.
  • Major capital project execution experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, personnel management, stakeholder engagement and mentoring skills.
  • Proficiency in project management disciplines, including planning, procurement, cost estimation, contracting, scheduling and project controls.
  • Technical experience in areas such as marine, facilities, subsea, pipelines or structural engineering.
