Job Description

  • We are seeking a competent and experienced SSHE Specialist I to support site-level safety, security, health and environmental compliance across operations and project activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor SSHE, regulatory, Operational Integrity (OI) and Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance.
  • Support permit reviews, regulatory liaison and compliance assessments.
  • Coordinate incident investigations, risk assessments and emergency response drills.
  • Track corrective actions, inspections and remediation activities.
  • Review SSHE reports and deliver safety training, orientations and toolbox meetings.
  • Collaborate with operations teams, contractors and regulatory agencies to improve safety performance.

Requirements

  • College-level education or equivalent; SSHE-related qualifications are advantageous.
  • Relevant safety experience, including some oil and gas industry exposure.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, security and risk management.
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work independently.
