We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Engineer (IVD / Clinical Chemistry)

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships in hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and medical institutions.
• Promote clinical chemistry reagents and biochemistry analyzers.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and demonstrations.
• Follow up on quotations, purchase orders and payments.
• Support analyzer installation, basic troubleshooting, and customer training.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide after-sales support.
• Collect market intelligence and competitor information.
• Work closely with the BSBE China team to develop the Nigerian market.

Requirements

• BSc / HND in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
• 2–3 years of experience in IVD, laboratory diagnostics, medical equipment, or diagnostic reagents.
• Good knowledge of clinical chemistry and laboratory workflows.
• Experience with biochemistry analyzers and/or chemistry reagents is highly preferred.
• Existing relationships with diagnostic laboratories, hospitals, distributors, or laboratory managers in Nigeria is a strong advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Willing to travel within Nigeria.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Good English communication skills.

Strong Advantage:

• Experience with Mindray, Dirui, Urit, Zybio, Genrui, Bioelab, or Hitachi chemistry systems.
