Job Title: Senior Accountant (Food & Beverage Industry)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Finance Manager

Job Description

• The Senior Accountant will manage financial records, reporting, reconciliations, cost control, and compliance. Experience in product costing, inventory management, and the food, beverage, or FMCG industry is an advantage.

Education/Professional Qualification

• BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or an equivalent recognized accounting qualification is required.
• Minimum of 4 years' post charter in accounting and finance, with experience in a senior accounting role.
• Experience in food manufacturing, QSR, FMCG, retail, or multi-branch operations is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, general ledger management, reconciliations, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and internal controls.

Skill Requirements:

• Knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and reconciliations.
• Understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and effective communication.

Salary
N600,000 – N700,000 Monthly
