Job Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite

Job Summary

• We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to support day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare routine journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage and reconcile HMO claims and patient receivables.
• Reconcile vendor payables and bank transactions.
• Monitor and record daily financial transactions.
• Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and audit activities.
• Liaise with HMO partners to resolve claims discrepancies and facilitate timely payments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in HMO claims management and reconciliation is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, preferably Sage ERP.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial procedures, and internal controls.
• Strong numerical, analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
