Application Support Officer, Stanbic IBTC Asset Management

Job Description

• The Application Support Officer is to ensure that all electronic and digital channels in the production environment are available and useable by customers 24/7. He/She ensures that all applications within his domain are available and useable by customers 24/7.
• He/She will also responsible for providing insights/foresights to the business through script writing using business intelligent/ user-interpretable tools to ensure the business is well informed of its operations.
• Support the organisation's software applications by helping to resolve technical issues and troubleshooting problems.
• Assist in maintaining system performance, security, and stability
• Support system upgrades and monitor application health to ensure the applications run smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• First Degree in IT and Computer Sciences or related discipline
• Professional Certifications (Ms SQL, Advance script writing, AIX/Unix/Ubuntu, Basic Financial knowledge, .NET programming etc.) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years Application Support experience in the financial sector.
