We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment, systems, and components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in equipment, machinery, pumps, and related systems.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and minimise downtime.
  • Inspect electrical wiring, control panels, switches, motors, sensors, and mechanical components for faults or signs of wear.
  • Perform routine servicing, adjustments, and replacement of defective components in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Test equipment and systems after repairs to ensure proper functionality and safe operation.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, equipment breakdowns, and technical faults.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Use diagnostic instruments, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify potential faults requiring attention.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, servicing, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Report major faults, equipment defects, and material requirements to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, equipment isolation requirements, and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organised condition.
  • Coordinate with other maintenance technicians and relevant departments to ensure effective facility operations.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 per month.
