We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: ELV Supervisor

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilties

  • Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, and repair of ELV systems within the facility.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, public address systems, intercoms, structured cabling, and other ELV installations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure system reliability and reduce equipment downtime.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify system faults, damaged components, connectivity issues, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Diagnose technical faults and coordinate corrective maintenance to restore system functionality within agreed timelines.
  • Assign tasks to ELV technicians and monitor their performance to ensure work is completed safely and to the required standards.
  • Ensure ELV installations and repairs comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor the performance of ELV equipment, control panels, communication devices, network cabling, and associated components.
  • Coordinate with IT, electrical, security, and other technical teams to resolve system integration and operational issues.
  • Ensure that fire alarm and other life-safety-related systems are properly maintained, tested, and kept operational in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Supervise contractors and service providers, ensuring that all ELV-related works meet approved specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor the availability and use of tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials, ensuring proper inventory control.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, equipment faults, repairs, testing, and commissioning.
  • Prepare periodic maintenance reports highlighting completed tasks, outstanding issues, recurring faults, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure technicians comply with health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment during maintenance activities.
  • Respond promptly to emergency system failures and coordinate appropriate corrective actions to minimise operational disruptions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and maintenance efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and on-the-job support to ELV technicians to improve work quality and productivity.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 monthly.
