Job Title: Head of Inventory

Location: Wuye, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Inventory to lead our inventory and stock control function across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory management and stock control across all branches and locations.
  • Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of all stock movements, receipts, transfers, adjustments and returns.
  • Monitor stock levels, variances, losses, damages, wastage and slow-moving items.
  • Lead regular physical stock counts and ensure timely reconciliation with system records.
  • Ensure strict compliance with inventory processes and controls.
  • Generate and analyse inventory reports to support management decision-making.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Operations and Store teams to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead, supervise and develop the inventory team.
  • Identify inventory risks and implement measures to minimise losses and discrepancies.
  • Drive continuous improvement of inventory processes and controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree / HND in Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in inventory/stock management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Odoo and Enterprise ERP is mandatory.
  • Proven experience managing inventory across multiple branches or locations.
  • Strong knowledge of stock reconciliation, inventory audits and variance management.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting and Excel skills.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in retail, supermarket, FMCG, hospitality or a similar environment is an advantage.
