• Our client runs a large-scale, modern poultry farm with capacity to breed thousands of birds in their farm located at Elele near Portharcourt in Rivers State where they process live chickens.
• Their vision is to rank amongst the leading chicken and egg suppliers and distributors in the whole of South-South and South East in the coming years. 

Job Description

• The Internal Control/Audit Manager provides independent risk management, and operational oversight across the entire integrated and operational value chain.
• The position works directly with the CEO and seeks to foster standardization and consistency across the company's business processes and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely reporting on the internal audit/control framework and control deficiencies.
• Initiate action plans,monitor progress to address and resolve control deficiencies.
• Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure resolution of all relevantaudit finding.
• Spot, assess and address risksand translate it into impact analysis.
• Initiate and develop control policies.

Qualities:

• A critical thinker and highly organized.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literate with ability to navigate the entire platforms of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding and experience with internal control frameworks.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Sound presentationskills.

• Leadership skills.

Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Sc/HND in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years practical experience in audit/internal control.
• ICAN qualification is an added advantage.
