Job Description

• The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory control activities, ensuring accurate inventory records, effective stock management, and compliance with established accounting and supply chain standards.
• The role involves managing inventory reconciliation, conducting stock audits, investigating discrepancies, and collaborating with relevant teams to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of inventory accounting principles, and experience using ERP systems and inventory management tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile inventory accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
• Conduct physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits.
• Analyze, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, inventory policies, and supply chain standards.
• Monitor inventory movements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Warehouse, and other relevant teams to optimize inventory management processes.
• Support the implementation and improvement of inventory control procedures.
• Prepare inventory reports and provide insights to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory accounting, inventory control, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory management practices, and standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 / month.
