Packing Store Head

Sunplast is a leading plastic manufacturing company in Nigeria with almost 30 years experience in the plastic manufacturing industry. Sun Group entered into the Plastics industry through the acquisition of a plant in Sango Ota, Ogun State in 1991. A second plant was installed and commissioned in 2000 in Lagos. In 2015 both plants were merged under one roof in Ogun State. The plants, which operate under the names Bright Products Limited and Sunplast Industries Limited, are equipped with top-of-the-line injection molding machines from China, India and Taiwan.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Packing Store Head

Location: Ota, Ogun

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the receipt, storage, issuance and dispatch of packing materials and finished products.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and proper stock reconciliation.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment of packing materials.
• Supervise store personnel and ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, Sales and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor stock movement, minimise losses, damages and discrepancies, and ensure proper material handling.
• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate inventory variances.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports.
• Maintain proper housekeeping, safe storage and an organised warehouse environment.

Requirements

• HND or BSc in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years’ relevant experience in packing store, warehouse or inventory management within a manufacturing company.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory documentation and warehouse management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
• Excellent supervisory, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy and accountability.
